The B3, B4, and AB2 zones are a continuation of the development of the Južné Mesto urban complex, specifically the “City” section. This new urban district is currently under construction on the southern edge of Petržalka, in the area of Janíkov dvor. Južné Mesto is divided into sectors A, B, and C, which are further split into zones according to the construction timeline. Zones B3, B4, and AB2 are located south of Panónska Street, below zone B1.
The project concerns three high-rise residential buildings, of which two structures are being built within the SO04 Residential Building section.
Near the zone, there will be a terminal stop of the planned extension of the tram line, which will serve as a key rail system for the city of Bratislava. A new public bus stop is also proposed as part of the plan. The concept of high-rise point buildings enables better sunlight access for the park, while their varied orientation improves views and sightlines toward the surrounding landscape, creating a new quality of living within the Južné Mesto development.
The above-ground part of the SO-04 structure consists of two tower-type residential buildings, referred to as Buildings A and B. They are situated on a shared underground garage—Structure S. The building has two underground floors, with Building A featuring 15 above-ground floors and Building B featuring 20 above-ground floors.
