This was made possible using a DfMA approach to which Peikko DELTABEAM^® and Column Shoes played an integral part. Working the contractor Laing O’Rourke and the structural engineers WSP Peikko designed & supplied over 550nr DELTABEAM^®’s to the project. So, helping achieve the target of over 70% of the components to be manufactured offsite. The use of DELTABEAM^® along with Peikko column shoes & anchor bolts allowed for minimal propping making construction both fast & safer. Therefore, playing a major role in the 23% program saving, including over 237,000 working hours.
